Po Mauli or Muku, Friday, 17th

Went to the Muliwai, Sunlight Beach to set intentions for Scorpio New Moon, at sunset. We planted our seed of intentions for the coming moon cycle ... and coming year.

Satori gave us something to consider about this New Moon in Scorpio ... "Once a year we get a Scorpio new moon, when the ego and the heart meet for a new lunar cycle in Pluto’s domain. It’s Persephone consuming the pomegranate seeds. Persephone confined to hell for a quarter of the year. It’s the start of the confinement period that precedes her rebirth back into the world of full sun..." Seed time. I like this perspective and appreciate how lucky we are to be living just up and onto the prairie front from this watery wahi pana sacred place.

Sun and Moon setting together

The tide was high just before we got there. We were on the beach at 4 PM, just as the tide began flowing out.

A pallet of freshly churned up ocean leaves, like leaves fallen from the trees rested on the beach. It was awesome!

We love hearing what you observe in your place.

First Frost

Magic was alive this morning when I stepped out the door just after 8 am. Fog was settling into a crisp morning with a sky clear with stars...
